Grand Rounds
Description of Program: The Obstetrics and Gynecology Grand Rounds are presented for UCLA Faculty, housestaff, students, and clinical physicians in the community. The contents of these presentations are instructional and provide physicians with current obstetrical and gynecological practices as well as new research and development which relates to clinical practice. The program is conducted by Faculty as well as selected guest speakers. The format includes a lecture period followed by a question and answer period. The Grand Rounds are held every Friday from 1:15 to 2:15 pm in the Pennington Conference Room (5265 RRMC). Click here for a map.

Goals and Objectives: The UCLA Obstetrics and Gynecology Grand Rounds represent four-year longitudinal curriculum of weekly lectures and presentations designed to augment the clinical experiences of Obstetrics and Gynecology resident physicians as well as to further and maintain the understanding of Obstetrics and Gynecology full-time and clinical Faculty on the management of clinically important problems or issues seen in their clinical practice. The educational objectives are to educate the participant on:
CME Credit CME Credit is provided for those attending the lectures. In order to receive credit, attendees must sign in on the day of the lecture and fill out an evaluation form. CME credit will be issued by the Office of Continuing Medical Education, of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA upon the completion of the series at the end of the academic year. |
